The Holy Flowers

The Holy Flower of Buddhism - Lotus Flower

This is the central part of Womb-Container Realm (Garbha-kosa dhatu) Mandala -- an eight-petaled lotus flower:

Basically, this flower represents everyone's Heart, which is the source of the universe. Furthermore, according to the Highest Truth -- Vajra Realm and Womb Container Realm are non-dual  (金胎不二) ,  it also represents the holy flower on everyone's head. See this:

Everyone's Heart is like a flower, but most of these flowers are closed and withered. Why so many rich people are depressed and unhappy? This is the reason.

Money and possessions are not the foods for our Hearts. What our Hearts truly need are Merits, the holy energies.

When one's Heart -- the flower, receives some merit, he or she becomes happier, because the flower gets the nourishment it need, and opens a little bit, becoming softer and more vivid.

As the Zohar says:
Woe to the generation from which Rabbi Shimon will be removed, for as long as we are in his presence the springs of the heart are open on every direction and everything is revealed, but as soon as we separate ourselves from him we know nothing and all the springs are closed. (V10Y.23)

From what my soul has seen, my heart is illuminated. Hence my face is smiling. (V22V.21)

the heart (God) takes from the liver only that which is pure and clean, leaving all the foulness for Samael, who distributes it to the idol worshipping nations.(V20.61)

...everything that the liver is holding it sacrifices to the heart, which is the King, to nourish him. And it is neither the way of that heart, nor its desire, the foulness of the deeds of His people, but He takes everything that is clear and pure, NAMELY all the merits and the good deeds, while all the foulness, the filth and the dirt, which are the bad deeds He leaves for the liver.....(V20.61)
When this flower gets enough energy, it opens completely, making the person extremely happy. A Chinese phrase for this situation is 心花怒放, its literal meaning is "The flower of Heart is in full bloom".

When this holy flower is matured, it will give birth to a fruit -- from inside the center of the flower, a baby appears, like this:

A Buddhist term for this situation is The Flower Opens and The Buddha Appears (花開見佛),  while the Confucian term for this is When the Heart Opens, the Truth is Revealed (開心見誠).

The holy flower of Rosicrucianism -- Rose

This is a secret picture of Rosicrucianism. In this picture, the holy flower -- rose opens and the inside holy person appears:

This rose has two layers, and each layer has eight petals. Over and beneath the rose, there are water and fire that nourish it and make it blossom.

The exact meaning of this picture is a profound secret, however, a passage extracted from  "A Poem that Enlightens Those Who Get Lost and Rectifies the Way to Tao " can be an explanation for this picture. The passage says:
With the green leaves, the color of the red flower will be vivid.
    From the upside and downside, the Water and the Fire will of themselves pour;
    When the two energies combine and coagulate, the holy embryo will come into being;
A hundred days later, a divine scene will naturally occur,
and the supermundane one who transcends births and deaths will naturally be there.

So, where is this rose? Another picture of Rosicrucianism, in which the sun nourishes the rose and the moon nourishes the lily, has the answer:

The holy flower of Islam

This is the holy flower of Islam:

This flower has eight petals, representing the eight attributes of Allah, and the large symbol at the flower's center, which is "Allah" in Arabic, represents Allah the Creator:

In another picture, this symbol of Allah is placed on a heart, meaning that the true Creator is at everyone's Heart:

In this picture, the white symbol of Allah looks very similar to the Chinese character , which means "heart". As Avatamsaka Sutra says:
    If anyone wishes to understand
all the Buddhas of the three times (past, present, and future),
he should contemplate the nature of Dharma-Realm,
to realize that all things are created by the Heart.

    [The Original Chinese Text]

The Bhagavad-gita also says:
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: ......I am in everyone's heart as the Supersoul......

O Arjuna, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities; but Me no one knows.
The Holy Star of Judaism

This is the Star of David, an euphemism for God:

And this is an ancient image of the Star of David.

In the above image, surrounding the central hexagram, there is an eight-pointed star.

Now let's look at this, a Tibetan painting for Esoteric Buddhism practice:

In the above picture, at the center of the man's chest, there is a hexagram.

Now here is another ancient Tibetan painting:

In the above picture, which demonstrates the origin and evolution of the whole universe, a hexagram occupies the central position, and surrounding the hexagram, there are eight lotus petals, which are embraced by a larger eight-petaled lotus flower......

As it is written in the Bible:
Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart" (Psalm 24:3 KJV)

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." (Matthew 5:8 KJV)

"If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart." (2 Timothy 2:21-22 KJV)

"Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." (1 Peter 1:22-23 KJV)

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:19-21 KJV)
And as the Zohar says:
You, mighty, holy men! To him among you who has allowed the spirit to enter, and his ears to hear, who has eyes open to see and who has a heart that is open to know! (V3.LL.2)

May it beYour will to open my heart to Your Torah, and to grant me male children to do Your wish; and may You fill the proper requests of my heart, and the heart of all Your people Yisrael for good and life and peace. Amen. (V12.17) written, "Give therefore your servant an understanding (lit. 'hearing') heart" (I Melachim 3:9), HEART (HEB. LEV, =32) BEING THE SECRET OF THE 32 PATHS OF WISDOM. (V22H.39)
The Secret of Tao

Taoist Scriptures also tell us that one's Heart is like a lotus flower and is the King. For example:
The Scripture of Yellow Court's Inner and Outer Jade-like Scenes says:
As for the department of the Heart, it is like a lotus flower.

    Emerald-Emptiness Treatise says:
Do not damage the Divinity in your Heart, and you will see Tao.

The Scripture of Yellow Court's Inner and Outer Jade-like Scenes says:
The Heart is the King of the body, it rules all the five viscera.

Furthermore, according to Taoism, there is an Eight-Trigrams at everyone's heart, and there is also an Eight-Trigrams on everyone's head.

The Eight-Trigrams can be divided into two types -- Uncreated Eight-Trigrams & Created Eight-Trigrams:

Uncreated Eight-Trigrams

Created Eight-Trigrams

The Uncreated Eight-Trigrams represents the status before one ( a person or an universe ) 's birth,  while the Created Eight-Trigrams represents the status after one's birth.

Moreover, a Taoist monk may wear a Lotus-Crown, which means that everyone can make his holy flower blossom on his head:
